Räuber Hotzenplotz

The Robber Hotzenplotz lives in the forest and is armed with seven knives and a pepper pistol. He takes his »profession« seriously and lives up to hi name. Police offi cer Dimpfelmoser fails again and again to get on his track. When Hotzenplotz even steals grandmother’s coffee mill, the clever Kasperl and his faithful friend Seppel get together to try to catch him. However, it is Hotzenplotz who catches them, and to make things worse, one of them is sold to Petrosilius Zwackelmann, the big, bad magician. The adventures of Kasperl and Seppel are recounted with odd music, delightful acting, magic and improvisation, at the same time dispensing with all the previous Hotzenplotz clichés.
